To all my supporters, family in Christ, and friends,
Thank you for your prayers and support. May God bless you
all richly.
The world is falling apart, but the Lord is on His throne,
and His work continues.
Prayer requests
- That God would direct my footsteps to the correct ministries this year
- God would continue to heal me so that I am able to return to a more flexible diet (which is pretty vital on the missions field)
- For my friends and brothers and sisters in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Africa, and Mid-Asia – that God would provide salvation, hope, peace, and joy in these confusing times.
I’m now an independent missionary, but the places that I’ve been going are strangely familiar – El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and a community near home named Rainbow Village. It's all familiar, and a reminder that God is faithful, and He has called us to be faithful as well.
A Night to Remember
In early February I returned to El Salvador for an event
called Night to Shine – a party for those with special needs. This time was
especially amazing. The red carpet treatment each guest received was the best
we’ve ever given. There was a lot of joy and a lot of smiles, and I had the
privilege of helping to take photos of each guest. They received a printed copy
at the end of the night. I also had the privilege of sharing the gospel and
talking about God’s incredible love for them through Jesus Christ.
Real Love on Valentines
1 John 4:19 – We love because He first loved us.
The next day was Valentines. I joined the youth delivering gifts to three widows who attend the local church and invited some of the local kids over for a movie night. Can't think of a better day to share the love of Christ. I was with the group that visited two widows - both who have lost both husband and children and yet have remained faithful to the Lord. I have not heard a complaint from either of them, but I have heard lots of thanks and encouragement.
This is what happens when you go to love and serve others. You get encouraged as well.
Two weeks later and I was back on the plane bound for
Honduras to visit Pastor Hector who has suffered the loss of his wife, mother,
and son in the past three years. We visited to encourage him and he is doing so
much better. He actually had a smile on his face despite everything he’s gone
through. Before he met the Lord, he was a drunk for many years, and I am sure
the temptation has been there to return to the bottle, but he has not given in,
and he has the hope of Christ. Please keep praying for him and his family that
through their loss many will find true life and comfort in Jesus.

Some of you may know sister Delmi – she was undergoing cancer treatment and we visited to encourage her, and as always, I was encouraged by her faithfulness. Just two weeks ago, we received the news that the Lord took her home.
On the one hand we rejoice at her faithful example and the Lord’s kindness to her throughout all these years, but on the other hand we mourn her loss with her family. Please pray for them - especially for her children.
Future Plans
This summer I will be joining the medical missions trip with Hope
Ministries International, Lord permitting (ticket's already bought!). If you would like to help by donating money,
medicine, or by coming and serving yourself, please let me know. It is an
amazing ministry.
Please join me in prayer that God would direct me to the
correct ministries this year where I can bless others and share the gospel.
Grace and peace,
Your brother,
-
Paul
